in Uttar Pradesh Kasganj Five years have passed since the riots, Yogi ji has come to the government for the second time as well. But till now, neither the crossroads could be built in the name of Chandan, the victim of this riot, nor did his dependent get a job. Chandan’s father still flinches remembering the events of that day and the crocodile tears shed by BJP leaders after that. It is said that my son Chandan was a staunch devotee of Yogi ji. When Yogi Adityanath became the CM in 2017, he did a bhandara of saints. When he was killed in the Kasganj riots on 26 January 2018, the entire government was standing outside his house. It was announced that an intersection would be built in the name of Chandan. A dependent will also be given a government job. But in five years the government has forgotten this thing.
Chandan’s mother Sangeeta says that the government had promised to build a chowk in the name of Chandan. An intersection was also marked for this. A statue was also installed there, but for five years this statue is waiting to be unveiled. According to Sangeeta, now the government does not even allow her to light a lamp near this covered idol. Chandan’s father Sushil Gupta says that the government had given a government job to his daughter, but took away this job only after 6 months. He reminded the government a lot that sandalwood died for BJP, but now who has time to remember sandalwood.

Son was a supporter of Yogi ji
It has been 5 years since the Kasganj riots and Chandan’s death. But apart from the police, no one remembers this incident now. Kasganj police deploys force every year on the anniversary of this incident. The three accused Salim, Wasim and Naseem, who were arrested in this incident, have also come out on bail. Chandan’s father Sushil Gupta says that at that time the government had assured that the family would get compensation. There will be an intersection named after Chandan and the family will also get a government job. But till now only the promise of compensation has been fulfilled. According to Chandan’s mother, she also went to Yogi ji’s public court with a complaint, but she was humiliated there.
