Azam Khan: Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate have raided many places of Samajwadi Party’s national general secretary and former minister Azam Khan. This raid is being carried out in many districts of Uttar Pradesh, where searches are being conducted since morning. According to news agency PTI, raids by the Income Tax Department and Enforcement Directorate are going on at 30 locations of Azam Khan including Lucknow, Meerut, Rampur and Ghaziabad. According to sources, raids are being conducted on Azam Khan’s hideouts in Madhya Pradesh also.
IT also has its eye on Al Jauhar Trust
Apart from this, IT is also keeping an eye on Azam Khan’s Al Jauhar Trust. Searches are being conducted by a big IT team in Rampur. A large number of police forces have been deployed at Azam Khan’s hideouts. However, till now no official information has been given by the Income Tax Department in this regard. Many teams of the Income Tax Department are busy conducting raids at different places.

This university is run by Maulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar Trust. It is alleged that Azam Khan had acquired all the land to build Jauhar University.
