Dumka Death Case: CM Hemant Soren has announced that Jharkhand government will give a compensation of 10 lakhs to the family of Ankita who was killed in Dumka.
Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has paid tribute on the death of Ankita. Apart from this, he has announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh. Apart from this, the CM has said that the DGP has also been asked to give a report in this matter.
In a tweet, the CM said- “Heartfelt tribute to Ankita Bitiya. Ankita’s family members have been instructed to fast track this heinous incident with the help of Rs 10 lakh. The Director General of Police has also been directed to give an early report on the progress of research by the ADG rank officer in the said case.
Rules need to be tightened
Earlier, the CM said- Many evils are being seen in the society. This incident is heart-wrenching and the law is taking its course. Accused has been arrested. We try to get him punished as soon as possible. He said that there is no place in the society for such incidents. The punishment provisions in such incidents need to be tightened further.

Let us tell you that in Dumka, a young man named Shahrukh burnt alive a 19-year-old girl studying in class 12th after failing in one-sided love, which led to her death. After the situation became tense in the area after the incident, the administration has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 there. Dumka Superintendent of Police Amber Lakra said that the girl, who suffered 90 percent burns in the incident, was admitted to RIMS in Ranchi for treatment, where she died at 2.30 am on Sunday.

Political and social organizations took to the road
He was admitted to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in the capital Ranchi in a critical condition, where he died late on Saturday night. On receiving the news of Ankita’s death, people got angry in Dumka. Activists of Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took to the streets and demanded justice for Ankita.
