According to the report of NDTV, on Friday, the bench of Justices AS Bopanna and Hima Kohli, while hearing the matter, has also sought answers from dentist Mohit Dhawan. The High Court had passed the order while hearing Mohit Dhawan’s petition. Instructing to stay the order of the High Court, the Supreme Court said that there is a need to consider this issue in detail.

Directing the next hearing of the case after five weeks, the bench asked the Chandigarh Police to preserve all the records, facts and CCTV related to the case. During the hearing, Additional Solicitor General KM Nataraj said that while hearing the interim bail, how can a High Court order to register a case against the police officers and constitute the SIT.
Prashant Bhushan told one of the worst cases
At the same time, advocate Prashant Bhushan, appearing for Dhawan in this case, described this case as one of the worst cases of police excesses. He said that Dhawan, a dentist from Chandigarh, had filed a case against a woman from Nairobi for recovery of dues. After this, a conspiracy was hatched to implicate the doctor and several cases were registered against Dhawan.

Prashant Bhushan said that in two cases Dhawan has got interim bail, in the third case he had to appear before the magistrate. Earlier, Dhawan was kidnapped and the other side in the case appeared in the court. Along with this, Bhushan also mentioned the affidavit filed by the police in the High Court.
