Hussain told the court that Manish Sisodia was asked several questions regarding the change of mobile phone. But he did not give a satisfactory answer even once. Nor did he tell where these mobile phones have been disposed. Hussain told the court that a lot of information has been received from his mobile and email data. This information is yet to be verified.

Today this remand period has come to an end. In such a situation, ED has come to present Sisodia in the court. The Aam Aadmi Party is a constant attacker on the BJP regarding the arrest of Manish Sisodia. AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal himself had made a big attack on the Prime Minister on this issue in the past. Had announced that his party would go door to door and village on this issue. A country wide campaign will be launched for this.
The arrest was made after eight hours of questioning
Before arresting Sisodia, the ED interrogated him for about eight hours in Tihar Jail. ED officials were questioning him in the money trail case. It was later alleged that Sisodia did not cooperate with the investigating agency during interrogation. Because of this he had to be arrested.
CBI had earlier arrested
Manish Sisodia was earlier arrested by the CBI in Delhi’s liquor policy scam. After that the CBI interrogated him on remand and produced him in the court and sent him to jail. After that, the ED arrested him on March 9 while investigating the money trail in the same case. The next day, after presenting in the court, he was taken on police custody remand for seven days, accusing him of not cooperating in the investigation against Sisodia.
