Punjab’s Excise Minister Harpal Singh Cheema has said about the change in the new excise policy that “the government has made a new kind of arrangement for such people who are ashamed to go on a contract and buy liquor.” The AAP government has also made complete preparations for how and where to open these shops. Due to the change in this policy, there will be a significant increase in the income of Punjab in the coming times.

Approval was given on 8 March
In Punjab, on March 8, the change in the new excise policy was approved. At the same time, many types of rules have also been made by the government for this. According to the Punjab government, 52 different groups have filled the tender for this new shop. At the same time, the government has said that license renewal cannot be done under this new policy. 2 lakh will have to be paid to participate in the tender process.
