India Middle East Europe Corridor: G20 summit held in Delhi (G20 Summit 2023) Economic Corridor from India to Europe (India Middle East Europe Corridor) has been announced. This economic corridor is being considered very important towards increasing connectivity. This corridor has remained in the headlines after the agreement on it in the G20 Summit. At the same time, it is also being said to counter China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) project. Meanwhile, the first official reaction has come from China on this.
China welcomed the project, but…
The Chinese Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Monday welcoming this corridor. China said that we welcome connectivity among developing countries, but it should be open, inclusive and cooperative. Its purpose should be only to promote shared development and connectivity. Remember that this should not become a weapon of geopolitics.
‘America’s situation is more talk and less action’
Earlier, Chinese media had tried to surround this project through America. Chinese media had said that America has promised cooperation in this project, but America talks more and does less. It was said in China’s leading newspaper Global Times that this is not the first time that America has agreed on an international project. America has previously called for such plans for the development of other countries, but has never tried to implement such plans.
India will benefit from the economic corridor
Let us tell you that on Saturday (September 9), Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the India-Middle-East Europe Economic Corridor at the G20 Summit. In the coming time, this corridor will be an important medium for economic cooperation between India, West Asia and Europe. This corridor will strengthen sustainable development and connectivity across the world.
