The NIA had also announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh on the main conspirator Harpreet Singh alias Happy Malaysia, against whom a non-bailable warrant was issued by the special NIA court and the LOC was opened. Further investigation is being done in the matter.

National Investigation Agency (NIA) to ludhiana bomb blasts I have achieved great success. NIA has arrested absconding terrorist Harpreet Singh alias Honey Ludhiana on his arrival from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia on Thursday. The NIA says Harpreet Singh, chief of the Pakistan-based International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF), is close to Lakhbir Singh Rode and was one of the conspirators in the Ludhiana court bomb blast in December last year. One person was killed in this blast while many people were injured.
NIA has arrested the most wanted terrorist Harpreet Singh alias Happy Malaysia, who is a resident of village Miadi Kalan, Tehsil Ajnala, Amritsar, Punjab. His arrest took place when he landed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
There was a blast in the court building on December last year.
The initial FIR regarding the gruesome bomb blast in the Ludhiana Court building was lodged at Ludhiana Police Station Division-5 on December 23 last year, later on January 13, 2022, an FIR was also lodged by the NIA.
Investigation revealed that Harpreet Singh alias Happy Malaysia is an associate of Lakhbir Singh Rode who is the self-styled head of Pakistan-based ISYF. Along with Happy, Rode was also one of the conspirators of the Ludhiana Court Building blast. Acting on Rode’s instructions, he arranged the delivery of a custom-made IED, which was sent from Pakistan to his associates in India, and used it to detonate the Ludhiana Court Complex.
10 lakh reward on Harpreet Singh
The arrested accused was also involved in several other cases including smuggling of explosives, arms and narcotics and was wanted.
