A major accident took place in Yamuna river in Banda district of UP today. A boat in which more than 30 people were on board sank in the river. At present, there are reports of 20 people drowning. CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed the district administration for relief and rescue work. Naib Tehsildar told that this boat was going to Fatehpur and relief work is going on to save the people.

Meanwhile, this incident came to light from the area under Marka police station. Regarding the incident, the Tehsildar informed that about 20 people have been reported drowning. As soon as the information about the boat capsizing in Yamuna river in the area under Marka police station was received, local people reached there in a hurry.
