Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
As the Lok Sabha elections are coming closer, the political heat is also increasing. Ram temple has been inaugurated in Ayodhya and Ramlala has been seated. Puja has also started in the Vyasji basement located in the Gyanvapi complex of Kashi. BJP is now presenting Ram Temple as its achievement. BJP has started giving edge to the issue of Kashi and Mathura not in hidden words but openly. It is believed that along with Ayodhya, the party is now busy in setting the political agenda regarding Mathura and Kashi also. So that the opposition can be brought on the pitch of Hindutva in the Lok Sabha elections.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath raised the issue of Kashi and Mathura along with Ayodhya during the discussion on the Governor's address on Wednesday. CM Yogi said that January 22 was a wonderful moment for the whole world. The work of consecrating the pride of India was completed. We are happy that we kept our promise and built the temple there, did what we said, and whatever resolution we took was also fulfilled. He also said that just as Lord Shri Krishna had asked for five villages from Duryodhana for the Pandavas, similarly the country and society were demanding only three places (Ayodhya, Mathura, Kashi), but had to beg for that too.
CM Yogi said that Ayodhya, Mathura, Kashi – all three are the lands of incarnation of God, but there was an insistence and political overtones and vote bank tendencies in it created controversy. Taking a jibe at the opposition, CM Yogi said that even then Duryodhana had said that if I did not give space equal to the tip of a needle, then the Mahabharata war was bound to happen. Here too, the invaders who trampled our culture and faith for vote bank were glorified, which the country will no longer accept. Now when people saw the celebration of Ayodhya, Nandi Baba said why should we wait. They broke the barricades at night. Where is our Krishna Kanhaiya going to believe?
After the resolution of Ayodhya, the rest of the resolutions will be fulfilled!
In fact, 'Ramlala we will come, we will build the temple there…' This resolution of BJP has been proved with the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. The survey work in Kashi has been completed and puja has also started in the Vyasji basement in the Gyanvapi complex across from the District Court. Now again the party seems to be moving on a new political path. Along with the political excitement of Lok Sabha elections, by raising the issue of Shahi Idgah Mosque and Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura and Vishwanath Temple in Kashi and Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi, CM Yogi Adityanath has tried to set the political agenda as well as give a political message.
Political meaning of CM Yogi's statement
The political meaning of this statement of CM Yogi is being explored. Thanks to the Ram Mandir movement, BJP got the inheritance of Hindutva. BJP touched political heights with the help of Ram Mandir issue. Along with the construction of Ram temple, voices also started being raised regarding Mathura-Kashi. Now in the Gyanvapi case also, the Hindu side seems to be getting victory in the court. In such a situation, BJP is now seen trying to fulfill its political pledge of 2024 with the help of Krishna Janmasthali in Mathura and Gyanvapi in Varanasi, because it will not be easy for the opposition to compete with BJP on the political pitch of Hindutva.
Political analyst Kashi Prasad says that wherever BJP gets a chance, it puts forward the Hindutva agenda. In such a situation, BJP has decided its priority for 2024 elections on religious basis. Along with taking credit for the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, he also started openly raising the issue of Kashi and Mathura, which is a direct indication that BJP's strategy is to contest the 2024 elections on the agenda of Hindutva.
Is the agenda of Hindutva a solution to the OBC issue?
In fact, opposition parties are setting their political agenda on the basis of caste. Especially SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi these days are cornering BJP on issues related to caste census and Dalit-OBC as part of their politics around OBCs. This strategy of the opposition is increasing the tension for BJP, because BJP is well understanding that it cannot overcome the agenda of OBC caste. In such a situation, all the BJP leaders are trying to somehow fight the 2024 elections on the agenda of Hindutva. This is the reason why BJP is busy in creating political atmosphere across the country on the pretext of Ram Temple.
Prime Minister has set the agenda for 2024
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the agenda for 2024 by inaugurating the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22 and participating in the Pran Pratishtha program of Ram Lalla. After Pran Pratistha, the PM said in his address that our Ram has come. Ramlala will no longer live in a tent but in the divine temple. Reminded people to fulfill their resolve to build a grand temple at the birthplace of Ramlala. Earlier, PM had inaugurated Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Varanasi. The foundation stone of the corridor was laid in March 2019 and by the end of 2021, the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor will be ready.
The message of Hindutva agenda comes from UP
The message of BJP's Hindutva agenda emanates from UP only. Along with Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and the land of Kashi Vishwanath being in UP, all the other major places and rivers related to the faith of Hindu society are also here. Ayodhya-Kashi-Mathura have been included in BJP's agenda from the beginning. BJP and VHP had launched a movement across the country regarding this, in which the issue of Ayodhya was at the top. On December 6, 1992, the disputed structure was demolished by kar sevaks. At that time, VHP had a slogan – 'Babri Masjid is tableau, Kashi-Mathura is left.' Now that the dream of Ram temple has come true, only Kashi and Mathura are left in BJP's agenda.
Since Yogi Adityanath took charge of power in UP, the work of implementing BJP's Hindutva agenda is being done very well. According to the ideology of BJP-RSS, Yogi Adityanath seems to be the most suitable political personality. BJP's agenda is reflected in the clothes of CM Yogi Adityanath. He has worked with the development of Hindu religious places and cultural concerns. In such a situation, it has been convenient to make the election fight 80 vs 40 on the equations of overall Hindutva. This is the reason why BJP wants to keep the 2024 elections around Hindutva.
