Jowar vegetable chilla

1/2 jowar flour
1/2 cup wheat flour
1 inch ginger
1 onion
1 tomato
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
salt to taste
1 tsp olive oil
water as required
How to make Jowar Vegetable Chilla
Take a bowl and add jowar flour and wheat flour, chopped ginger, onion and tomato. After this add all the spices. Add water and mix everything well to get the desired consistency for a cheela. Keep in mind that it should neither be too thick nor too thin. Now heat a pan and add some olive oil to it. – Add the batter as soon as the oil is hot, spread it with the help of the back of the spoon and let it cook till it turns golden brown from both the sides. serve hot.
Jowar and ragi paratha
material
2 tbsp jowar flour
2 tbsp ragi flour
2 tbsp soya flour
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1/2 tsp ajwain
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
cooking oil
water to knead the dough
Steps to prepare Jowar and Ragi Paratha
Mix all the flour and spices. Add water gradually and knead it all like a dough. Divide the dough into small portions and roll each other into a paratha shape. Heat a non stick tava (griddle) and pour some oil on it. Place the rolled dough and cook till it turns golden brown in color from both the sides. Your healthy, low oil paratha is ready. Serve with curd, vegetables or chutney.
Jowar upma

2 tsp refined oil
1 tsp urad dal
1 cup jowar flour
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp asafoetida
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup green peas
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
6 curry leaves
1/2 cup semolina
2 tsp chili garlic paste
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups water
Steps to prepare jowar upma
Take a deep pan and add oil to it. Let it heat up. Add mustard seeds and urad dal. Next, add asafoetida, curry leaves and fry for a few seconds on a medium flame. Now, add chopped onions and fry for another minute. Add semolina and jowar flour and cook for 2 minutes while stirring continuously. Then, add green peas, chilli garlic paste, chopped coriander and salt to taste. Mix everything well. Add water and mix everything well again. Let it cook well till the water is absorbed. serve hot.
Jowar-gur ladoo
material
2 cups jowar flour
1 cup jaggery
3 tbsp ghee
Steps to prepare Jowar-Jaggery Laddoos
Heat ghee in a pan and fry the jowar flour in it. After roasting, slow down the gas and put jaggery in it. Keep stirring continuously till the jaggery melts. Mix everything well. Switch off the gas and let the mixture cool slightly. Grease your hands with ghee and prepare small laddoos from the soft dough.
