Imran is being compared to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman
Looking at the situation in Pakistan, Imran Khan is now being compared to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. A few days ago, Imran Khan himself compared himself with Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He had said that the way he had fought with the Pakistani army, in the same way he too has to fight the war. Imran Khan also said that today the army is making mistakes in the same way as it did in 1971. In his video, Imran Khan had said that due to the atrocities of the army, East Pakistan was divided into Bangladesh. There is no difference between the two situations. Even at that time the army was doing atrocities and even more it is raining sticks and rods.
Who was Sheikh Mujibur Rahman?
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was also famous by the nickname of Bangabandhu in his life. He divided Pakistan into two pieces by fighting with Pakistani government and army and established Bangladesh. After partition, he became the first President of Bangladesh. At that time Yahya Khan was the army chief in Pakistan, against whom Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had blown the bugle. India supported Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s campaign to create Bangladesh. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had opposed Operation Searchlight of Pak Army Chief Yahya Khan. Under this campaign, an order was issued to wreak havoc on Bangla speaking people. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman stood against Yahya Khan and divided Pakistan into Bangladesh in the name of language. According to one figure, 30 lakh people were killed in the Bangladesh war.
