The Constituent Assembly Indian Constitution was passed on 26 November 1949. It was considered effective from 26 January 1950. The original copies of the Constitution are kept in the Library of Parliament. Copies of the constitution were kept in a case filled with helium to be safe for a long time.

Indian constitution made by combining the legislation of 10 countries: When the constitution was being prepared, while reading the constitution of different countries, some of the things there were made a part of it. Indian constitution was prepared by combining the constitutions of 10 countries of the world. This was known as the Bag of Borrowings. In this, the laws and rights of countries like America, Soviet Union, United Kingdom, France, Ireland and others were included.
4. 432 nibs were worn: The work of writing the constitution was entrusted to calligraphist Prem Bihari Narayan Raizada. He was entrusted with the responsibility of writing the constitution by Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. 432 nibs were worn out in writing the constitution. These were imported from England. The pen was made by putting the nib in the holder and the constitution was written by dipping it in ink.
