Due to the size of the tumor, there was no room for air to move in the lungs and the patient’s saturation rate was dropping very rapidly whenever we were doing any instrumentation. The procedure took 3 hours but was successful in removing the tumor successfully. After the operation the patient was kept in the ICU for further monitoring and was discharged as soon as he was successfully weaned off mechanical ventilation.
