He further added, “All the products available in the market are not healthy or original, so one needs to depend on supplements to make up for the deficiency of vitamins and minerals in the body.”
Maintaining calcium levels is also important for a person with vitamin D deficiency.
Elaborating further, he said, “If a person is deficient in Vitamin D, it can lead to joint pain or dental problems. A person having deficiency of Vitamin D in the body can have any bone related problem. The best source of Vitamin D is sunlight. It is also good for skin and bones. Foods like fish, almonds and nuts are good sources of vitamin D.
If a person is deficient in Vitamin D then calcium intake is very important so that Vitamin D can be absorbed by the body.
According to the researchers, “Vitamin D is produced by the body through sunlight and ultraviolet rays. That’s why vitamin D levels are low due to not getting enough sunlight. Medical professionals and other domestic workers are at a higher risk of vitamin D deficiency.”
