Research on confirmation of 528 patients
People who are in close contact with monkeypox patients and who touch their wounds can also get this disease. Let us inform that research was done on the confirmation of 528 patients in 16 countries. The study claimed that 95 percent of patients had this disease due to sexual contact. On the other hand 98% of the patients are gay men. 41% are HIV positive which is also transmitted through sexual contact.
