A doctor from the medicine department of AIIMS told that due to server hack, there is only a slight delay in OPD registration of patients. Other than that no problem. Followup patients are getting treatment through their unique ID. Patients coming in emergency are also being admitted manually. The doctor told that a lot of staff in AIIMS are years old, who had worked offline for a long time. In such a situation, doctors or other medical staff are not facing any special problem. The doctor has expressed hope that the server may be fine by Monday.
Internet services running on phone
The doctor told that internet services are running on the phone. The help of WhatsApp is also being taken in cases of emergency recruitment. Doctors are also using messages and this app to share test reports of patients. This is saving time and patients are getting their reports.
30 out of 50 servers have been scanned
According to the information received from the hospital, the ANAIC team has scanned 30 out of 50 servers. Antivirus is being installed in computers. Antivirus has been installed in more than 2 thousand out of 5 thousand computers and 30 out of 50 servers have been scanned.
