Pathan: Shahrukh Khan’s much awaited film Pathan will be released in theaters tomorrow i.e. on 25th January. Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone’s film Pathan is rocking the box office even before its big premiere on 25th January. Advance booking of Pathan started from 20 January and more than 5 lakh tickets of the film were sold on the first day itself. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said, ‘This proves that people want to see big entertainers on the big screen only.’ Pathan is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by YRF. There were many such theaters in India which were closed due to the Corona epidemic, but now they are being opened again for Shahrukh Khan’s film.
Filmmaker Siddharth said directing Shahrukh was a big responsibility because of the expectations. He said in a statement, “Directing Shah Rukh Khan is a responsibility and it has become even bigger now because of the break he took (of 4 years) and which has created immense expectations and excitement with his audience. Now realizing, in the release of the film, what that fan base is and how big it is. Talking about Pathan, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh said, “As we all know, Shah Rukh Khan is returning to the screen after four years with a high-octane action entertainer, and the promotions have worked wonders. The advance booking for Pathan was fully opened on 20 January and it sold over 5 lakh tickets on the first day itself. Reacting to the great advance booking of tickets, Taran said, “It proves that people only want to watch a big entertainer on the big screen.”
Pathan’s glory will not be limited to just its first day in theatres. Film tycoons are confident that the film will do some record-breaking feats during its five-day extended weekend. Girish Johar suggested that the film would earn Rs 175–200 crore in the domestic market in the first five days and could easily do Rs 350 crore globally.

A few days back, Mumbai’s iconic Gaiety Theatre, which is a part of the ZEE7 multiplex, announced a 9 am show for the first time in the film’s five-decade-old history. G7 executive director Manoj Desai said that if the demand for Pathan remains high, he will screen the film at Galaxy, which is also a part of the G7 multiplex. Desai said, “If this happens, there will be a difference of 30 minutes between the show timings in both the theatres.”
