In Navratri, many people keep a fast for nine days to please Goddess Durga. In such a situation, you can include many types of raita in the diet to stay hydrated during the fast. Let’s know which raita you can consume.
Cucumber Raita – To make this raita, take a bowl of homemade curd. Add grated cucumber to it. Add rock salt to it. Mix all these things well and serve. You can add roasted cumin in it.
Beetroot Raita – Take curd in a bowl. Add grated 1 beetroot to it. Add rock salt and half a teaspoon cumin seeds according to taste. Mix all these things well. Now consume this raita.
Pineapple Raita – Put mashed pineapple in a pan. Add sugar to it and let it boil for some time. Now add pineapple pieces to it. Let them cook for a while. After this, turn off the gas, now mix it with curd. Add rock salt and roasted cumin, mix and serve.
Aloo Raita – First boil 1 to 2 potatoes. Peel them and mash them. Now take curd in a bowl. Add mashed potatoes, rock salt and roasted cumin seeds to it. This raita is very tasty and healthy. (Photo Credit: Renu Dalal)
