Common University Entrance Test this year in Central Universities across the country (CUETAdmission to undergraduate courses is to be given on the basis of the score of Rs. CUET UG Result has been declared. In such a situation, the universities which are part of CUET have started admission here. In this episode, the provisional program of Jamia Millia Islamia University has been released for admission to undergraduate program on the basis of CUET-2022. This year Jamia Millia Islamia University is offering students in 10 courses on the basis of CUET score.
At the same time, the list of selected candidates will be published on the basis of final CUET 2022 rank. This list will be based on merit and according to the Muslim minority policy of Jamia. After the release of the merit list for admission, the selected candidates will have to appear for physical verification along with the documents on the scheduled dates to complete their admission process. The first list of selected candidates will be released on 26 September. Applicants are expected to appear for document verification from 29 September to 1 October. On completion of the process, their admission in the university will be confirmed.
When will the rest of the list be released?
The second list will be announced on October 6 and after that the verification process will be scheduled from October 10 to 12. The third list will be published on October 17 and selected applicants can appear for document verification from October 20 to 21. The fourth and final list will be released on October 26 only if seats are available for the respective courses. Selected students can get their documents verified on October 28 and 31.
Meanwhile, UGC President M. Jagadesh Kumar has shared a tentative schedule of Central Universities on Twitter. This year, admission in central universities across the country is being given on the basis of CUET score. Earlier, admission in many universities was given on the basis of their own entrance test or merit list. However, the government has now fixed the CUET score for admission to undergraduate courses in Central Universities, State Universities and other institutions.
