As per the latest update, DU K Vice Chancellor has said that the admission process is going to start very soon. CUET UG 2022 Exam completed on 30th August. In such a situation, students can expect that many universities and colleges may soon start the UG admission process.
At the same time, as far as admission in DU is concerned, Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh told news agency PTI that the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for admission to undergraduate courses will be started very soon. Earlier, the 100-year-old Delhi University had asked students to keep their documents ready by August 31. In such a situation, it was expected that the admissions would start soon. Admission in DU will start only after the declaration of CUET UG result.
In how many phases will there be admission?
On the other hand, through the DU admission portal CSAS, students will be able to apply for admission in three phases. Under the first phase, students will have to submit their application form and apply for admission in Delhi University. Under the second phase, students will have the option to choose the courses of their choice and then fill that choice. However, this phase will start only after the release of CUET scores. On the basis of the CUET score of the students, the candidates will be eligible for admission.
Under the third and last phase, once the students submit the CUET marks, the seat allocation and admission will begin. The DU admission process is expected to be completed by the end of September. The university expects that the classes for the first year students will start in the first or second week of October. Initially, the DU admission was scheduled to begin in the last week of August. But due to technical glitches during the CUET exam, NTA had to postpone the exam. Due to this delay, the admission process was pushed back by a week.
