How to Register on MADAD Portal?
- Visit the MADAD portal madad.gov.in.
- On the home page itself, you will find two different links – Grievant Registration and Registration of Indian Students Abroad.
- If you want to register a complaint then go directly to the Crivant Registration. If you are already registering for your own safety, go to the link with two Indian students.
- Register by filling all the required information asked.
- After registering, an activation link will be sent to your email id and an OTP on the mobile number. Activate your account through it.
How to get help?
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has said that Indian citizens and students in Canada can register with the High Commission of India in Ottawa or the Consulate General in Toronto and Vancouver on the respective website or MADAD portal. It has been told that by registering, the High Commission and Consulate General can better contact Indian citizens in Canada in case of any need or emergency and necessary help can be provided to them.
