The Supreme Court has accepted the government’s petition on the 24000 crore fund of the Sahara-SEBI dispute. Actually the government had filed a petition in the Supreme Court. In this petition, the government had said that out of the total fund of 24000 crores of Sahara-SEBI, 5000 crores should be allocated immediately so that the government can return their money to the investors.
Now after the government’s petition is approved, the way has been cleared for about 1.1 crore investors to get their money. At the same time, troubles have arisen for Sahara.
Giving great relief to one crore investors of Sahara, the Supreme Court has ordered that out of Rs 24,000 thousand crore deposited by the investors, Rs 5,000 crore should be returned immediately. These 5000 crore rupees will be given to about 1.1 crore investors.
