Let us inform that the foundation stone of the new Parliament House was laid by PM Modi on 10 December 2020. The new Parliament House is made in the form of a four-storey building of triangular shape. Its entire campus is ready in 64,500 square meters. In this, 888 members can easily sit in the Lok Sabha.

The structure of the new parliament has been prepared by none other than HCP Designs, an architecture company from Gujarat. The chief architect of this building is Bimal Patel. Bimal Patel has done the design work of many big buildings. He has also received the Padma Shri Award in 2019 for his exceptional work in the field of architecture. He has worked on the design of many big buildings including Vishwanath Dham Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Gujarat High Court Building, IIM Ahmedabad Campus, Tata CGPL Township, Sabarmati Riverfront Development Project and Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University.
