Bhavish Aggarwal, co-founder and CEO of Ola Electric, has informed on Twitter that the company has received bookings of more than 10,000 units of Ola S1 on the very first day. The company has opened the purchase window of the Ola S1 which was launched on August 15 and customers have booked the new electric scooter in large numbers. The only Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters are present in Ola’s lineup. Ola S1 is the company’s cheapest electric scooter and its ex-showroom price is Rs 99,999. Ola also introduced a new electric car on August 15, which will be launched in the coming years.
Ola Electric Scooter Range
The biggest difference between the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooter is its battery pack. The Ola S1 gets a smaller 3kWh battery pack, while the Ola S1 Pro gets a bigger 4kWh battery pack. According to ARAI, on a single full charge, the Ola S1 electric scooter can cover a distance of 141 km, while the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter can cover a distance of 181 km comfortably.
Ola S1-S1 Pro: Charging Time
Due to the smaller battery pack in the Ola S1, it weighs 4 kg less than the S1 Pro. The smaller battery pack means that the Ola S1 electric scooter will take less time to charge. The Ola S1 Pro takes 6 hours and 30 minutes to charge, while the Ola S1 will be fully charged in just 5 hours. Both electric scooters get a 5.5kW electric motor.

Both the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters come with futuristic headlamps, LED headlamps, spacious under-seat storage and wider seats. Both the electric scooters get tubeless tires along with alloy wheels. In the Indian market, Ola S1 Electric Scooter comes with 5 color options, while Ola S1 Pro Electric Scooter comes with 11 color options.
