Harley-Davidson X 440: Features and Design
The Milwaukee-based two-wheeler manufacturer has revealed the images of the X 440. In terms of design, it will borrow styling cues from the company’s older XR series roadsters. Harley-Davidson X 440 will get round shaped all-LED headlamp, multi-spoke alloy wheels. It will get USD front forks and gas-charged dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties will be handled by disc brakes at both ends along with dual-channel ABS.
Harley-Davidson X 440: Booking, launch and price
The pre-bookings for the bike have started at selected dealerships across the country. You can book it for yourself by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. The official launch of this bike will be done on July 3 next month. Talking about the expected price of the bike, its ex-showroom price is expected to be less than Rs.3 lakh. It will take on the likes of Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Jawa Perak, Yezdi Roadster, etc.
Engine and gearbox options in Harley bikes
Talking about the powertrain option of the bike, the company has not revealed the powertrain details of the X 440 at the moment. It is likely to get a 440cc, single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine. It will be connected with a 6-speed gearbox.
